Voters in Republika Srpska Choose a New President

Voters are casting ballots today in a snap election for the presidency of Republika Srpska. The vote will determine the successor to the current president, Milorad Dodik. Polls opened at 2,211 voting stations across the Serb-majority region of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Additional stations are operating abroad for eligible diaspora voters. This election will select the next leader of the semi-autonomous entity. The results are being closely watched as a measure of the region's political direction.
