Prosecutors have dropped all charges against 18 activists from the group Palestine Action. They were accused of aggravated burglary during a break-in at a UK factory owned by Israeli defense company Elbit Systems. The decision came after a separate jury acquitted six other defendants of the same serious offence. That charge can carry a maximum sentence of life in prison. The six cleared individuals are Charlotte Head, 29, Samuel Corner, 23, Leona Kamio, 30, Fatema Rajwani, 21, Zoe Rogers, 22, and Jordan Devlin, 31. Their case related to a raid on the Elbit factory in Filton, near Bristol, on 6 August 2024. Following these acquittals, the Crown Prosecution Service ended its case against the remaining 18 activists.
