A United Nations peacekeeping mission has recorded more than 10,000 air and ground violations by Israel inside Lebanese territory since a ceasefire began. These incidents include unauthorized entries into Lebanese airspace and cross-border ground movements.
The Lebanese government states that this military activity has resulted in significant casualties. Officials report that 331 people have been killed and 945 injured by Israeli fire in the same period.
The UN mission, known as UNIFIL, is tasked with monitoring the cessation of hostilities between Lebanon and Israel. The high number of reported violations highlights ongoing tensions along the shared border despite the truce.
