The Labour party has accused a Reform UK candidate of representing "toxic politics" after he received an endorsement from the far-right activist Tommy Robinson.
Robinson, a prominent anti-Islam campaigner in the UK, used social media to tell his followers to vote for Matthew Goodwin. Goodwin is the Reform candidate in the upcoming Gorton and Denton byelection.
This endorsement creates a problem for Reform leader Nigel Farage. He has repeatedly tried to keep his political parties separate from Robinson and his far-right views.
