A new push to strengthen economic ties could see trade between Nigeria and Türkiye surge past $10 billion. The prediction comes from the head of the Nigeria-Türkiye Business Council, Dele Oye.
Oye stated that Turkish products are already deeply embedded in Nigerian daily life. "There is no home in Nigeria that does not have a Turkish product," he said.
The ambitious trade target follows recent agreements between the two nations. These pacts are designed to significantly boost commercial exchange and investment.
The business council will work to implement these new agreements. The goal is to unlock greater economic potential for both countries.
