Two major Turkish opposition parties held talks on Wednesday, focusing on the conflict in northern Syria.
The pro-Kurdish DEM Party met with the center-right DEVA Party. The stated goal was to discuss recent military attacks targeting the region known as "Rojava," or Northern and Eastern Syria.
The DEM Party stated the meeting aimed to address the escalating situation. The talks are part of a broader consultation effort by DEM.
The party confirmed its delegation will next meet with the conservative Saadet Party to continue discussions on the same issue.
