Canon Inc. has announced a major leadership change. Kazuto Ogawa will become the company's new President and Chief Operating Officer.
He will replace current President and CEO Fujio Mitarai, who will remain as Chairman and CEO. The change is effective April 1.

Ogawa is a longtime Canon executive. He currently leads the company's Image Communication Business. This division includes key products like cameras and network video systems.
