The first Syrian ship dedicated to transporting livestock has sailed from Tartous port to Brazil. This marks a new achievement for the country's maritime industry.
Port Director Muawiya Hafyan stated that Syrian workers converted a commercial ship into a specialized livestock carrier. The vessel features nine decks and was built and refitted entirely using local expertise.
This project is the first of its kind in the region. The ship's departure represents a significant step for Syria's export capabilities.
