A 60-year-old cyclist has died after being hit by a car in Hong Kong's Tai Po district. This is the second fatal bicycle accident in the city in just one week.
Police reported the crash on Ting Kok Road at 7:25 a.m. on Monday. The location was near the Tai Po Industrial Estate.
Emergency services took the man to a nearby hospital. He was later pronounced dead.
Officers arrested the car driver for dangerous driving. The investigation is ongoing.
Last week, another cycling accident in Hong Kong also resulted in a death. The two incidents have raised public concern about road safety.
