Over 100 Worshippers Kidnapped During Church Service in Nigeria

The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) has strongly condemned the mass abduction of Christian worshippers in Kaduna state. Gunmen kidnapped more than 100 people from the Kurmin Wali community in Kajuru district. The attack happened during a church service. In a statement, the PFN called the incident a "tragic setback." It said the kidnapping destroys recent hopes for better security in the region. The religious group is now demanding the immediate rescue of all victims. Kaduna state has faced repeated violence from armed groups, known locally as bandits. These groups often kidnap people for large ransom payments.
