Brussels Protest Turns Violent: Nine Police Officers Injured

Nine police officers were injured during a demonstration in Brussels on Saturday after protesters threw objects at them. The Federal Prosecutor's Office confirmed the incident to the Anadolu Agency. Authorities have made several arrests. They identified those detained as supporters of the YPG/SDG, a Syrian Kurdish militia group. Turkey and several other nations classify the YPG as a terrorist organization. The protest was reportedly against Turkish military operations in northern Syria.
