An elite Hong Kong school is implementing a new policy to check book donations for content that may violate national security laws. King's College, a government school in Mid-Levels, announced the measure in its latest annual report.
The school stated that some publications donated by alumni could contain illegal material or political propaganda. To address this, it will now vet all donated books and reject any that pose a potential risk.
