The writer of the hit political drama "Borgen" says Donald Trump's push to buy Greenland is a plot too strange for fiction. Adam Price states that if he had written such a storyline, he would have been laughed out of the room.
Price's show dedicated episodes to Greenland, a former Danish colony. He was drawn to its story for the high emotions surrounding its colonial history.
He now watches a "stranger-than-fiction" reality where a former U.S. president acts, in Price's view, like a spoiled child denied a toy. The only positive outcome, he notes, is that it has made Greenland and Denmark more united.
Adam Price is the creator and writer of the television series "Borgen."
