A Venezuelan national faces terrorism and felony charges in Arizona. Authorities arrested Javier Erazo-Zuniga after a reported armed confrontation.
Police say Erazo-Zuniga entered a community in the town of Guadalupe. He allegedly claimed control over the area while armed with a gun. He is also accused of threatening residents during the incident.
The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office charged him with multiple felonies. These include making a terroristic threat and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Erazo-Zuniga is currently held in custody. His case proceeds through the local court system.
