Colombian authorities have captured the alleged crime boss known as "El Botox." He is accused of ordering the murder of a prominent lime growers' association leader.
Police had issued 11 arrest warrants for the suspect. The charges include homicide and extortion targeting the agricultural sector.
Officials also accuse "El Botox" of attacking police with explosives. His arrest is a major blow to a criminal group that terrorized local farmers.
The leader of the lime growers was killed last year. Prosecutors say the murder was meant to intimidate farmers who refused to pay illegal fees.
