The CEO of Ryanair has publicly invited Elon Musk to invest in the airline, even offering a free flight to encourage the billionaire.
Michael O'Leary stated, “We're sending around to the Twitter offices in Dublin this morning a free flight for Mr. Musk.” He added that Musk would be "very welcome" as an investor.
The comment highlights O'Leary's ongoing strategy to attract major shareholders. Ryanair recently reported record annual profits after a surge in post-pandemic travel demand.
No response from Musk or his companies has been reported. The Tesla and SpaceX owner has not indicated any interest in airline investments.
