Left-Wing Coalition Condemns Attacks on Syrian Kurds

Twelve socialist parties and movements in Turkey have issued a joint statement with the pro-Kurdish DEM Party. They are calling for struggle and solidarity against attacks targeting Kurdish communities in northern and eastern Syria.
The coalition condemns assaults by groups linked to Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS). HTS is a dominant armed faction within the power bloc controlling Syria's capital, Damascus. The attacks are focused on the living areas of the Kurdish people in the region.
Signatories to the statement include the DEM Party, EMEP, DBP, DP, EHP, ESP, Halkevleri, SMF, SODAP, SYKP, TİP, TÖP, and YSP.
