A flight carrying former U.S. President Donald Trump was forced to return to its origin point on Saturday.
The aircraft, often referred to as Air Force One when carrying a sitting president, was en route to Switzerland. It turned back to Joint Base Andrews in Maryland after experiencing an onboard issue.
A White House official described the problem as a "minor electrical issue." The nature of the issue was not detailed further.
The Boeing 747, a modified version used for presidential travel, landed safely. There were no reports of injuries.
