Khartoum Market Reopens as War Rages Elsewhere in Sudan

Business is slowly returning to Khartoum's central market. This follows the Sudanese army's recent recapture of the area from the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
The army pushed the RSF out of the city center. Now, vendors are cautiously reopening their shops.
However, the wider conflict is not over. In other parts of Sudan, fierce fighting continues between the army and the RSF.
The situation shows a divided country. The capital sees fragile calm while other regions remain war zones.
