Two Suspects in Hong Kong Killing Transferred from Mainland China
Two men have been sent to Hong Kong, where they are suspects in a fatal attack. Mainland Chinese authorities arrested the pair in March for illegally crossing the border. The two men are accused of a knife attack in Sha Tin on March 16. The incident occurred outside the home of the 52-year-old victim, who police suspect had triad connections. One man is the suspected attacker, and the other is accused of driving the getaway car. After the attack, the suspects allegedly tried to enter Vietnam. Mainland police detained them in the Guangxi region for the illegal border crossing. They have now been transferred to Hong Kong custody to face charges related to the killing.
