Four astronauts have returned to Earth early from the International Space Station (ISS) due to an undisclosed medical issue.
The crew members are from Japan, Russia, and the United States. They landed safely in a SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule in the Pacific Ocean.
Their mission was cut short after a medical situation arose on the ISS. Officials have not identified the affected crew member or the nature of the issue, citing privacy.
The early return demonstrates standard emergency procedures for crew health. A replacement launch is expected to proceed as scheduled.
