All major Palestinian factions have agreed on the 15 members of a committee to govern Gaza after the war, Egypt announced on Wednesday.
The committee's formation is a key part of a U.S.-brokered ceasefire plan. Washington stated the agreement allows the plan to move to its next phase.
That next phase aims to achieve three main goals: the disarmament of Hamas, the reconstruction of Gaza, and the resumption of daily civil administration.
