Heavy rain and rising rivers have left South Africa's Kruger National Park with only one usable exit. Park officials warn that visitors could become temporarily stranded if conditions worsen.
The park's management agency, SANParks, issued an alert after flooding blocked multiple roads and bridges. Many of the usual exit routes are now impassable.
Currently, only the Crocodile Bridge Gate in the south remains open. Officials stated that if this final bridge becomes unsafe, some guests will be unable to leave until the water recedes.
Authorities are advising all visitors inside the vast park to monitor official channels for urgent updates on the evolving situation.
