The United States government has approved a potential $105 million military sale to Ukraine. This package is designed to sustain and improve Ukraine's Patriot air defense systems, which are crucial for intercepting incoming missiles and aircraft.
The support will include upgrading Ukraine's existing M901 missile launchers to the newer M903 configuration. The deal also provides essential spare parts, training for Ukrainian personnel, and other logistical support.
This action helps Ukraine maintain its current air defense capabilities. The U.S. State Department formally notified Congress of the planned sale.
