Residents are returning to parts of Aleppo after fighting there stopped. The clashes were between Syrian government troops and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), a Kurdish-led militia.
The government now controls these neighborhoods in northern Aleppo. People came back cautiously on Sunday as the violence eased.
A major danger remains, however. Unexploded bombs and shells are scattered in the area. These pose a serious ongoing threat to civilian safety.
