Two snowmobilers died in an avalanche on Saturday near Longs Pass in Washington state. The slide occurred in the remote Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest.
Two other members of the group survived. They activated a distress device, alerting emergency services.
Rescue teams reached the site and located the survivors. The two deceased victims were recovered later.
