Iran Warns: US Troops, Israel Are "Legitimate Targets"

Iran's parliamentary speaker issued a stark warning to the United States on Sunday. He stated that U.S. military forces and Israel would become "legitimate targets" if America carries out a strike against Iran. The warning came during a parliamentary session focused on ongoing mass protests inside Iran. U.S. President Donald Trump has previously threatened Iran with military action. A U.S.-based human rights group reported Sunday that the death toll linked to the protests has risen to 116. The country also remains under a severe internet blackout, which has now lasted for more than 60 hours.
