A leading human rights organization has condemned a drone attack on a government building in northern Syria.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) issued a statement on Sunday. It denounced the strike targeting the Aleppo Governorate building.
The group said the attack was carried out by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). The SDF is a Kurdish-led military alliance.
In its statement, the SNHR stressed the need to avoid targeting civilians and civilian facilities. It called on all parties to respect international humanitarian law.
This law, also known as the rules of war, is designed to protect people not taking part in hostilities.
