Hundreds of people rallied in Stockholm on Saturday, calling for major changes in American and Israeli foreign policy.
The dual-focus protest urged the United States to release Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife. Both are currently detained in the U.S. on narcotics charges. Demonstrators also demanded an immediate end to Israel's military campaign in Gaza.
Organizers linked the two issues, describing them as examples of unjust foreign intervention. The peaceful crowd gathered in a central public square, holding signs and listening to speeches.
There was no report of disruptions. Swedish police monitored the event without incident.
