In a historic FA Cup upset, non-league Macclesfield defeated defending champions Crystal Palace. A massive 117 places in England's football pyramid separated the two teams.
Macclesfield, who play in the sixth tier, deservedly beat the star-studded Premier League side. Palace, who compete in European tournaments, became the first cup holders to lose to non-league opposition since 1909.
Palace's manager, Oliver Glasner, called it a "David against Goliath story." His team fielded three players from last year's cup-winning final but were overwhelmed.
