Former "The View" co-host Sherri Shepherd has publicly agreed with Jenny McCarthy's recent criticism of the show. The clip was obtained by Entertainment Weekly. McCarthy, who was a co-host from 2013 to 2014, recently said the show changed. She argued it now focuses too much on political debate instead of lighter, entertaining topics. Shepherd, who was on "The View" from 2007 to 2014, agreed with this assessment. She suggested the change in format has made the show less enjoyable for some viewers. Both women have since moved on to other entertainment projects after leaving the ABC program.
