ANC Heavyweight Ngcukaitobi Weighs Eastern Cape Leadership Bid

A campaign is underway to draft prominent ANC Secretary Thanduxolo Ngcukaitobi as the next leader of the party in the Eastern Cape province. Some party members are pushing for Ngcukaitobi to stand at the March conference. They argue he would provide ethical leadership and reduce internal factional disputes. When contacted by Scrolla.Africa, Ngcukaitobi did not confirm his candidacy. He stated he is aware of the campaign but is currently focused on the upcoming conference. The move could see him challenge the current Provincial Chairperson, Oscar Mabuyane, for the top position.
