World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka is through to the Brisbane International final for the third consecutive year. She defeated Karolina Muchova 6-3, 6-4 in the semifinals. Sabalenka sealed the win on her fourth match point. She will play for the title on Sunday against Ukraine's Marta Kostyuk. Kostyuk reached the final with a stunning 6-0, 6-3 victory over fourth seed Jessica Pegula. This marks Kostyuk's third straight win against a top-10 ranked opponent. Before this tournament, Kostyuk had only one win in five previous matches against Pegula. In other tennis news, Carlos Alcaraz beat Jannik Sinner in an exhibition match in Korea.
