World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka is through to the Brisbane International final for the third consecutive year. She defeated Karolina Muchova 6-3, 6-4 in the semifinals.
Sabalenka sealed the win on her fourth match point. She will play for the title on Sunday against Ukraine's Marta Kostyuk.
Kostyuk reached the final with a stunning 6-0, 6-3 victory over fourth seed Jessica Pegula. This marks Kostyuk's third straight win against a top-10 ranked opponent.
Before this tournament, Kostyuk had only one win in five previous matches against Pegula.
