Nigerian Police Storm Hideouts, Rescue Kidnapped Victims

Police in Nigeria's Nasarawa state have rescued three kidnapped victims and arrested six suspects. The operation took place in the Lafia East Development Area. Officers from the Assakio Division worked with local vigilante groups. Together, they raided suspected kidnappers' hideouts in Angara and Fadaman Bauna villages. The rescued victims include two women and one man. All six suspects are now in police custody. Kidnapping for ransom is a major security challenge in parts of Nigeria. Security forces often collaborate with local communities to combat these criminal groups.
