Vice President JD Vance has publicly defended a federal immigration officer who shot and killed a woman in Minneapolis.
The shooting occurred on Wednesday. Authorities say the officer, from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), was attempting to make an arrest.
Vance stated the officer was responding to an "attack on federal law enforcement." He did not provide further details about the incident.
