Fortnum & Mason, the iconic British luxury retailer, will close its Hong Kong store on January 25.
The brand, a favorite of the British royal family and famous for its teas and gourmet hampers, made the announcement on Friday. The flagship location opened in 2019.
A clearance sale with discounts of up to 60% is now underway at the store ahead of its shutdown. The company stated the decision includes closing the on-site restaurant.
No reason for the closure was given in the initial announcement.
