Manchester City have completed the signing of forward Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth for an initial £62.5 million.
The 26-year-old, who signed a contract until 2031, stated his goal is to push City back into the Premier League title race. The club currently sits six points behind leaders Arsenal.
The deal includes potential add-ons worth £1.5m for Bournemouth. The selling club will also receive 10% of any future profit if City sells Semenyo.
City secured the player after competing with rivals Liverpool and Manchester United. Semenyo could make his first appearance for his new club in Saturday's FA Cup match against Exeter.
