Angela Harrelson, the aunt of George Floyd, says a recent fatal police shooting in Minneapolis feels deeply personal.
The shooting occurred less than half a mile from George Floyd Square, the memorial site for her nephew. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents shot and killed a woman, identified as Renee Good, during an operation.
Harrelson told reporter Jonah Kaplan that the proximity and circumstances of the event were emotionally difficult. The incident has renewed attention on police use of force in the city.
