A leading Manchester United supporters group has called for the club's owners to be removed. The group, known as The 1958, also labeled new co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe "an incompetent clown."
The group announced a vote of no confidence in the club's ownership. It stated the club has become a "laughing stock" under the current model.
The 1958 wants the Glazer family and Jim Ratcliffe to leave Manchester United. It also raised concerns about senior club executives Omar Berrada and Jason Wilcox. This follows the recent sacking of football director Ruben Amorim.
A protest is planned for Manchester United's home game against Fulham on February 1. The group aims to make its voice heard at Old Trafford stadium.
