The coach who started her career says she "has everything to be a world-class striker – fast, two great feet, good with the head and strong."
Manchester United have signed a proven goal-scorer. Since 2019, no United women's player has scored more than 10 league goals in a season. Their new striker, Lea Schüller, has done it seven years in a row in Germany's top league.
Schüller joins from Bayern Munich. She has a powerful record of 54 goals in 82 games for the German national team. The 28-year-old is the match-winner the club has needed.
She has signed a contract until June 2029. This means her peak playing years could be at United.
