A Manchester hotel refused to let two homeless men stay in rooms that were already paid for, a charity reports. Staff turned the men away in sub-zero temperatures.
A charity worker called the incident at the city centre Holiday Inn "disgusting" and "complete discrimination on appearance."
According to the account, hotel staff told the men, "I know that you’re from the street and the hotel doesn’t allow it."
The charity had secured and paid for the bookings to shelter the men from the cold.
