The Church of England will take no action against its next leader, Sarah Mullally, following a review. A complaint about her handling of an abuse allegation has been dismissed.
Mullally is set to become the Archbishop of Canterbury on January 28. She will succeed Justin Welby, who was forced to resign over his own handling of a church safeguarding scandal.
The dismissed complaint concerned an abuse allegation in London. An internal church review found no reason to take further action against Mullally.
