The United Nations reports that Israel's closure of key roads in Gaza is severely limiting humanitarian work, even as fuel supplies restart.
A new report from the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) states that aid groups cannot reach people in need due to these obstacles. The report was cited by the Palestinian WAFA news agency.
While some fuel has been allowed into the territory, the blocked roads stop aid from being delivered. This means food, water, and medical supplies are prevented from getting to civilians.
OCHA coordinates all major relief efforts in Gaza. The agency warns that without access, the humanitarian situation will continue to deteriorate.
