A child safety watchdog warns that criminals are using Elon Musk's AI tool, Grok, to create illegal imagery of children.
The UK-based Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) found users on a dark web forum. These users claimed they used Grok Imagine to make sexualized and topless images of girls aged 11 to 13.
IWF analysts confirm these images would be classified as child sexual abuse material (CSAM) under UK law. The watchdog warns this technology risks making such harmful content more common.
The IWF is calling for urgent action to prevent AI from being used to create illegal child abuse imagery.
