Houdini Hound Unlocks Shelter, Escapes

A dog in West Virginia executed a daring jailbreak, and the entire escape was caught on camera. The shelter's surveillance video shows Dawson, a clever canine, first slipping out of his securely locked kennel. He then approached the shelter's main front door. Using only his teeth, Dawson manipulated the handle, unlocked the door, and made his getaway into the night. Staff at the Jackson County Animal Shelter were stunned by the sophisticated escape. They have since located Dawson and safely returned him. Shelter officials report he is now secure in a more fortified enclosure.
