People who stop taking weight-loss injections regain all the weight they lost in less than two years. This happens much faster than with other diet plans, a major new study reveals.
The research found that weight returned about four times faster after stopping the medication compared to other methods.
The drugs, called GLP-1 agonists, mimic a natural hormone that helps people feel full. They were first created to treat type 2 diabetes.
Experts say the findings show these medications are a long-term treatment, not a short-term fix.
