Spencer Pratt, a star of the MTV series "The Hills," has announced he is running for Mayor of Los Angeles.
Pratt has used his large social media following for over a year to criticize current Mayor Karen Bass and other California Democrats. His political focus began after his home was damaged in the 2021 Palisades Fire.
He now aims to transition from reality television commentator to a candidate in the city's next election.
