Governor Abdullahi Sule has provided 1,000 mattresses and 500 double-bunk beds to a teachers' college in Nasarawa State. The donation went to the College of Education in the town of Akwanga.
Officials say the move directly addresses a student housing shortage. The goal is to improve the learning environment for future teachers.
A double-bunk bed is a sturdy bed frame designed to sleep two people, one above the other. This allows more students to use limited dormitory space.
The governor's office stated the donation is part of ongoing efforts to support state-owned institutions. It aims to reduce hardship for students and help them focus on their studies.
