$9 Billion Minnesota Fraud: Funds Diverted to Somalia, Terror Groups

A massive fraud scheme in Minnesota allegedly stole $9 billion in taxpayer money, according to a U.S. Congressman. The funds were taken during the administration of Governor Tim Walz. Congressman Tom Emmer claims a large portion of the stolen money was sent out of the country. He states millions were diverted to Somalia, including to groups designated as terrorist organizations. The allegations center on fraud within public nutrition programs. Federal and state investigators are already looking into the case, which represents one of the largest fraud schemes in U.S. history. Emmer says Governor Walz's administration failed to stop the theft. He is now calling for full accountability for those who oversaw the programs.
