A severe cold snap has caused fatal accidents and travel chaos across parts of Europe.
In France, icy roads led to multiple deaths. Authorities in the Landes region reported three people killed and 15 injured in accidents on Tuesday. Near Paris, two more drivers died in separate crashes.
In Bosnia, one person was killed when a tree fell on their car due to heavy snow.
The freezing conditions, bringing snow and ice, have severely disrupted travel. Major delays and cancellations are affecting road, rail, and air travel in several countries, including the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.
Meteorologists say the dangerous conditions are expected to continue in the coming days.
